THE HURSTPIERPOINT PLAYERS
The Hurstpierpoint Players are a community amateur dramatics society formed in 1936, they perform a wide variety of programmes usually in The Players Theatre, which they bought in 1977.
The group is very proactive and do most of the work on the theatre and it's productions themselves, they are a charitable association and rely heavily on fundraising activities and donations to continue to maintain the building and to produce high quality performances.
The theatre plays home to other comminity organisations such as Centre Stage, who teach the basics of theatre to children aged 8 and upwards, and The Hurst Little Theatre who perform smaller shows and enable the theatre to offer more than the usual four productions per year.There is a website dedicated to the Players at:
